A fantastic new Bill's restaurant has officially opened at Heathrow Terminal 2, one of the UK's busiest airport terminals, and Catering Projects is proud to have played a key role in bringing the project to life.
Airport fit-outs present a unique set of challenges that go far beyond a standard restaurant installation. From the early design stages and detailed planning through to logistics, security requirements and final installation, every phase must be carefully coordinated to ensure the project is delivered safely, efficiently and on schedule.
Working closely with the Bill's team, Catering Projects designed and installed the restaurant's bespoke bar and commercial kitchen, creating a back-of-house space that's built to perform in a demanding, high-volume airport environment. Every element was carefully considered to maximise efficiency, durability and functionality, helping the team deliver a seamless service to thousands of passengers every day.
Projects within operational airports require experience, flexibility and close collaboration between all parties. With strict access controls, carefully managed delivery schedules and multiple stakeholders involved, successful project delivery depends on meticulous planning and expert execution.
